• (3 Gallon) Asahi-Zuru (Orido-Nishiki) Acer palmatum, Gorgeous Deep Pink and white variegation in Spring, followed by pink, white and green foliage until fall. Asahi zuru means Rising Sun. The variegation is creamy-white with pink in spring. Bark tends to have pink striations through out, especially on newer bark. Fast growing when young, this nice maple will eventually produce a spreading plant with the variegation becoming more intense with age. Its bark also carries variegation of creamy white and pink. The Autumn color is reddish-maroon.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plant are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
