This enchanting Azalea creates large flowers that appear in April, then blooms again in early July, continuing through fall until hard frost High summer temperatures don't stop this beauty from producing loads of late summer and fall flowers. This can be used in group or in mass plantings, mixed borders, containers, and/or a specimen plant. Good for foundation plantings or woodland gardens.

- The evergreen foliage is disease resistant, and maintains excellent color year-round. Flowering lasts for 4-6 weeks in spring, and then another 12-16 weeks in summer and fall.
Bare Root Plants: the plant is shipped with the roots taken out of the pot. The roots are then wrapped in moist paper, with or without soil. The roots wrapped in moist medium is then covered with some kind of plastic to hold the moisture. The paper with moisture will keep the plant alive, during the journey. The plants once received, the roots should be given a soak for 30 minutes and planted immediately.
Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage very safe and secure. We have been shipping plants like this for several years (plants are sometimes shipped in smaller pots for safety and ease of shipping). Most plants go dormant in Fall and Winter and will lose most of their leaves looking dead and dry, this is very normal. They will flush out in Spring.We cannot ship certain plants and some sizes to California due to restrictions placed by the Department of Agriculture.
