• Pixie Japanese Maple-Red Foliage dwarf Japanese Maple. It's a miniature of Bloodgood. Leaves are a bright red in spring gradually changing to deep red throughout the summer and bright scarlet in autumn. Leaves form interesting red clumps on stems that are close and compact. Fall color is red. Fun tree for bonsai.

Note: The plant is shipped in its pot, firmly secured with several layers of clear tape, thereby avoiding any shuffling and moving during transit. The plant reaches you with minimal damage- very safe and secure. Most plants go dormant in fall and winter and will lose most of their leaves - looking dead and dry - very normal. They will flush out in spring.
